newbie--abbreviation meanings please

I am new to the forum and havn''t quite figured out what all the abbreviations mean. (ie. DH, FI, etc) Anyone willing to help me out?

I think dh is dear husband and Fi is fiancee or fiance...

If you type abbreviations into the search function, a bunch will pop up. I know they''re hard to figure out and some of the threads that you''ll see are pretty funny.

the ''d'' in dh can mean many things.... including darn, delusional, dopey, dimwitted, darling, delightful, dear, and yes devoted. All to be derived from context
