Hi,

I have been lurking for a month or so trying to get more informed on diamonds, but I am hoping one of the pros can provide some feedback prior to purchase.

Diamond is for a solitaire ring and I have been looking exclusively at WF as they have the setting I prefer.

I have been looking for a ACA, VS2 or eye clean SI1. Color, I have been looking between G and I, but mainly on I to maximize the size. I have checked out a G and I instore and I cannot see much (if any) difference in a setting. Hopefully the SO doesn't as well :)

Anyone see any issues?

Thanks!

Everything looks great. I see no problems at all.

I am no diamond expert but I am a woman who wears an I-colour engagement ring. I've posted about it elsewhere. Basically my stone looks very white and I think getting an I and maxing out on the size within your budget is an excellent idea. My stone looks so white I thought it was an E or an F and was vey surprised when I saw the AGS certificate. I also own a .52 D, and when you hold them side by side there is a slight difference, but the I-colour stone still does not look at all yellow. The difference is mainly that the D has a very cold white iciness that the I doesn't have. In dim lighting, or in sunlight, the I shoots warm flashes of blue, green, and purple. The D definitely looks icier in dim lighting. But under no circumstances does the I stone ever look yellow, and mostly it faces up perfectly white. So your choice looks excellent to me!

An ACA is always a good choice!
