I am new to this website. I am looking for a setting similar to the michael b. trois with wedding band.
In general I like the love of the pave/micro-pave halo setting either with a single band or split shank.
I cannot afford the price of a "true" michael b... would anyone have suggestions.
I have already looked into WF setting, but is this truly a pave setting. I like the look.
I guess I am looking for options...
I am an Architect and elegant lines are important...

Also: another side of me likes gailrmv (member of this site) setting. It''s very elegant. Can you tell me where you found this.

lucara, I don''t know if gail will see this, but I know she has the same setting as I do. It''s the D''Vatche X-Prong. Sorry, can''t help with the other.

hi! Thanks so much for the compliment!! I love it too. It is the Vatche X Prong, just as Ellen said. I got it from my local store, but several online vendors who advertise on Pricescope carry it (I don''t know off hand which ones.) The only downsides: It can be hard to find a wedding band to fit flush (I have the matching band, but some poeple find it too thick). Also, platinum develops a patina, and I didn''t realize quite how that would look til I got it - it won''t stay shiny for long. But all in all I love it! Happy hunting!
