Just wanted to say hello, I have been a long time lurker!

I have been reading up on diamonds on this website as I am getting a custom ring made I think I will be going with Whiteflash as I got their quote and it seems pretty reasonable.

I do have a question about this diamond though and if it is a good diamond, as I don''t trust myself yet since I am new to this whole world! Thanks in advance!

Hi Corgan,

So far everything looks good! Is this with an online vendor? could you possibly get any other info on it? i.e. sarin report, IS image?

Yes it is from Whiteflash

Here are the pictures of the ring I want, it is actually from a member on this board and I appologize because I don't know the users name. This person had a 2.5 carat diamond and I am looking at 1carat. Also do you know the approx amount of size of diamonds to use in relation to a 1 carat to get the same look?

Ok, gorgeous stone, no worries!! (please put it on hold now that it's out there for all to see, WF will do that til you decide)

As for the smaller stones, it's kind of a preference thing. If you want the center stone to receive most of the attention, you would go really small. If you don't care and want lots of bling, you'd go a bit bigger.

I'd tell WF whatever look it is you're going after, and they can recommend the best size.

That stone really is a beauty.

The stone says that additional clouds are not shown in the comments area, would that really effect the stone?

At VS2, nope, not at all.

K , Stupid question, How do you put the stone on hold? I tried the 1800 number but since I am in Canada it obviously does not work for me.

Just tell them what stone you're considering, and that you'd like to reserve it while you think it over.

Sorry, I knew they were, but I didn't know if they took messages or not.

That's ok, it means no one else can get it either.

Just get on the phone in the morning when they open to be sure!
