I’m planning to ask my girlfriend to marry me in the next few months and I really want to get her something nice.

I’ve been looking at diamonds and I am still trying to figure out what to get. I want to spend about $4500 for a diamond. Something at least 1 carat, round, and I want something that performs really well. Is this a reasonable budget for something like that?

Also, I like the legato sleek setting from Whiteflash and I know that she will love it. One thing I''ve noticed is that Whiteflash’s prices seem to be a little higher than some of the other stones I’ve seen on pricescope search. If I get a diamond from somewhere else, how would I get the diamond in the setting? What would be the best way to do this? Would it be worth it to just spend the extra money on a diamond from Whiteflash? It says they don’t sell the setting without a diamond anyways. If that’s the case what are my options? Thanks in advance!

Hi,

If you stay under the .99 mark, you''ll save money as there is a price jump when over the 1 ct mark. Personally, I''d either go down a bit in size so to stay in budget or spend a bit more to get a great performing WF diamond in the setting she''ll love.

Thanks, how does this diamond look?

I put the dimensions in the cut advisor and it came out with execellent results.
