New stones on the market

This might be a weird question, but is there a way to see which diamonds are "new" to the marketplace?

I keep looking for cushions specifically and was wandering if there is a website that shows for example new cushions that became available this week. Instead of looking through the entire inventory over and over again, have a sorted list of cushions by date.

Maybe a better question is, how often do new stones come around?

If I started looking for a diamond last month and I still can't find anything, will something new come out this month? 2 months?

Mr Monkey I can't answer your question as to when new diamonds appear. I think everyday except weekends diamonds are shipped from the cutting houses to the vendors. I also had a very narrow criteria for my perfect peeble, it took me about a year to find exactly what I wanted. I checked my list every night and again in the morning before I went to work. I reserved my diamond by 8:30 AM. True love makes us guys do silly things! I would suggest talking to Mark T. at ERD as he is super skilful at finding beautiful cushions, Jon at GOG is also pretty good on finding pretty cushion diamonds. But finding the perfect stone may take some time if you very selective, but very worthwhile in personal satifaction. Happy Hunting!!!

Some folks will just choose their vendor and have them be on the lookout for something meeting their requirements. Goodoldgold for example might have stones in their inventory that aren't yet posted on their site.

1year? Wow! I'm giving myself 2 months! I keep refreshing daily the lists from all the PS vendors to see if there's anything new... Next step is to contact Mark T. As you and countless others have suggested.

What size/specs are you wanting. Certain combinations are harder to come by. I'd suggest calling mark T and let him see what he can do. I trust his eye for cushions. There are amazing ones and some real dogs so I'd just leave it to a pro. You also need to pay attention to the diameters and spread. Depending in cut its possible for a smaller cushion to face up the same size as a larger carat weight deeper cut one..Y
