new setting

I need a new setting for my 1.0 pear with .15 pear side stones. Can I buy a setting online and take it to a local jeweler? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

you can but i would say buy the setting from the jeweler so if you have problems, you can always just walk in

also if the setting is broken during the fitting, most likely it wont be covered

Hi, welcome to Pricescope! You can buy the setting online and have the online vendor set it. Some B&M's may not want to set it since you did not buy it from them.
