New setting for oval three stone ring

Hi everyone,

I just aquired a 3 stone ring, oval diamonds. Just under 3 ctw. I was told the ring is at least 30 years old. The setting is very poorly made and not wearable. I''m looking to find a new white gold setting, plain, for these 3 diamonds. Can anyone point me to a vendor who I can buy just a setting from? Thanks!

those diamonds look absolutely spectacular! I loooove ovals. You could contact WF and see if they could help you. Would you mind posting a pic of the setting as well? I would like to see it. Did you inherit the piece?

You might have a hard time finding a stock setting that will allow you to use all of your stones. Most stock settings will have the sides stones already there. Are you working within a certain budget? There are several wonderful vendors here who could make something for you. Whiteflash, Engagementringsdirect, and Quest or a few that come to mind. Also, Leon Mege of Artofplatinum works wonderful makeovers. He has redone two of widget''s rings( another pricescoper) and they are works of art.

Çã†hër§~ Actually, we bought the ring used (the diamonds are spectacular, thanks ), for the diamonds only as the setting is really worthless. I''m attaching a picture for you to see. I''m not sure how to attach more than one but I will try so you can see the setting up close. I''m sure you''ll see what I mean when I say the setting is very poorly made.

mrssalvo~ That has been my problem, finding a setting for my diamonds, most do already come with the sidestones. Which I don''t want. Thanks for your suggestions!

thanks for the picture! I have never had anything done by WF but many others on here have..if they can't help you, I am sure they will point you in the right direction of someone who can. Make sure you keep us updated. I am still drooling over the bling! wowsers!
