Hello All,

I am fairly new to this site, although my husband sought your advice for my engagement ring. (thanks!) My wedding band is an eternity ring, .6ct and is set with a prong setting. (sorry, I''m not familiar with all the lingo) It was fairly inexpensive as I didn''t want my badn to outshine my engagement ring. However, two of the diamonds have fallen out, been put back in and then fallen out again. We were looking into getting a new one, but I just found out that I can just take the diamonds and custom make a new band.

Can anyone recommend how/where I can get this done. I''m in the Los Angeles area, soon to be Honolulu, Hi. Anywhere in those vicinities would be great--or, we can send it somewhere as my husand bought my engagement ring at whiteflash.

Thanks!

You know what? I''d just skip that idea and get a whole new ring. Truthfully, if the ring was cheaply made, the diamonds are probably not worth resetting. Not only that, custom can cost more than buying a ring readymade. Can you post a picture of your e-ring? That way I can recommend where I''d get your new band. Some are set lower than others, and it would help me to see how low your diamond is set on the e-ring.

Depending on the quality of the stones and their size, diamondseeker might be right. Small diamonds really aren''t that expensive and it might be about the same price just to get a new ring rather than a setting + labor costs. For a new ring I would recommend WF or signedpieces.
