New project - harlequin sapphire earrings

So I was looking through the sapphires I’ve collected for my bracelet project and I noticed I had a fairly good match in terms of complimentary size, shape and colour.



This of course meant I immediately had to find a yellow pair to set with them for a cute pair of unheated mismatch / harlequin pendant earrings.

The yellows arrived this morning and are exactly the right size - same shape but a little smaller than the lower emerald cuts. I’m going to put them in the middle.

Took them into the jeweller this morning. Am going to have them set in yellow gold claws and articulated joins so they move and sparkle when worn.

Now the wait for CAD begins.

Only the middle two yellows are from the NSC, they didn’t make them for me.

I love the wide filigree backs my jeweller made - he knows I can’t stand a droopy earring!
