new pink tourmaline

Hi all,

Just purchased a pink tourmaline, and as I am in Aus, having it sent to Daniel M to put it into something.

What do you think? I've never had a pink stone before, but I love the magenta hint in it

Also hit me up with ideas for it - ring? pendant? (as I see it is a softer stone)

It's beautiful! I would go with a ring, as I would want to be able to see that lovely colour

It looks a bit small to work as a pendant, and tourmaline is not hard enough to be an everyday ring stone. If you want to 1) see the color and 2) wear the stone on a frequent basis, I would recommend a bracelet or bangle - maybe something like in the avatar of the poster above me.

I would go with a ring. That way you can admire it all the time.

Do you know what? It may be a bit tiny. I just got lost in the colour ha ha. Open for ideas and I love the pics above @elle_71125 - thanks for posting. I am thinking yellow gold.

I don't really mind if it is a smaller ring, I won't get to wear it day to day (doctor).
