Thanks!! i have no idea what to do with it yet, but i'm guessing a simple solitaire since it's so big! My fingers are crossed... hope it looks good in person. :)

Minous~ i have been on a buying binge lately.. who knows what is wrong w/ me. I actually purchased the large oval zircon from Dana as well... eek!

Crasu~ no plans yet, I'm going to wait until I see it. My mom usually only wears her jade pendant, so this will likely be a ring. Her ring size is 4.25, so that doesn't leave a lot of space for sidestones.. it'll likely be a solitaire!

TL~ My mom never buys anything for herself, so this is the least I can do. :)

ahhhhh!!!! i got it already!! Michael mailed it two days ago and it made its way to CA already!

it's GORGEOUS!!! the color is amazing!!! (crown could be a lil higher, but i'm not complaining) and SO SOOOOOOO orange!!!

I gotta go get coffee w/ a friend but will post crappy indoor shots when i get home. My Barry tourmaline came too. Ahhhhh!!! :bigsmile:
 
my pics are so awful. it doesn't work w/o flash, and w/ flash it's a blur.

Compared to the spess i got from Dana, this one is a tad more glowy... and just a tiny bit more rich orange. it's an amazing stone. My holy grail of gems may have to share its crown.

The new spess is gorgeous, and looks even more saturated than the oval next to it without going darker in tone - perfect! The round is kinda deep though, eh?

Now, where's that red/pink tourmaline from gemline???

The round really doesn't seem that deep to me for its size. I expected it to be deeper for some reason, think my supernova amethyst from barry is deeper and that one's surface area is smaller. Must be the crown height. It's got a lil more silk or whatever spessies have, so it glows more than the oval, but i would say the saturation is almost the same. The round is also a tad more red than the oval. The oval looks yellowish in these pics, but i swear it's just the camera flash. They are both very very orange in person. They're both gorgeous... i love them! I dont wanna give it away!!!
 
Your new Litnon round stands out in that picture. It’s looks so orange!
 
Wow, very nice. Linton's pictures didn't do it justice as I think it looks more saturated than the oval in your photos.
 
Okay, i finally saw it in daylight today. OMG.... it is insanely orange!!!!! very very very saturated!!! Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!

I did see the other orange he listed, and was tempted, but in the pic on his hand, it looked slightly yelllow compared to his pic of my stone. I'm glad i didn't get that one as well. :bigsmile: i'm in love!

eta: just tried to take some more, but my pics still suck, so i'm going to try to take some more after lunch. the oval may be just a tad bit less saturated, but the difference is very very small in real life. It really doesn't photograph as well as the round. the round is a big show off!!
