I recieved my champagne diamond, only to test it (scratch test with a sapphire) and find out it was not so much diamond. So I got my money back and bought a rebound stone.

It is a .93ct nigerian cuprian tourmaline. I should get it tomarrow or the next day as the seller is about 10 miles from me. She didnt want to do a drop of/pick up though...I tried LOL.

I love the color and dont have any nigerian material! The photos dont look tampered with and the seller seemed honest. I will of course post pics of my own asap!

I am also looking at an apatite. It just cought my eye and is calling me....if I buy it I will post pics of that as well LOL.

RH,
If you did a scratch test with a sapphire and the “diamond” was damaged instead, wouldn’t the vendor have an excuse not to refund you money because the stone is now not in its original condition? Please use a diamond tester instead or something else rather than rely on a scratch test; this method always leaves me shuddering. The tourmaline looks to have good colour so I’m hoping it’ll turn out as pictured.

Ooh, so pretty! I love that color!

It''s lovely. Great color!

Used a princess cut lab sapphire and scratched the diamond with it rather easy. A sapphire shouldn''t scratch a diamond. I don''t have s tester so I do that test first before wasting my time and the stores time testing it.

I just filed a paypal complaint and recieved my money back within 2 days. The seller now had 3 fake diamond negs since I left my neg.

lets hope it''s that color..if so it be looking sweeeeeeet..your pics are eagerly awaited!!!!...hey hugger..since you be getting lots of these cuprians from ebay..if you want i can give you Bruce Fry''s contact info..he will test your stones for copper..it''s real cheap..just a suggestion if ever you had any doubts with a stone
