Oh YEAH! But a little goes a LONG way. I have to be really careful with it or I look like a clown.Date: 1/12/2010 9:21:03 AM

T. LeClerc. There IS no other, IMO. Rice powder based, fine and gorgeously sheer, breathes beautifully and has a gajillion colors. I have used banane, but usually use Camellia as I am very fair. I also have Orchidee(pink) and the lavender color. It sounds weird, but I promise this powder is just the BEST!Date: 1/12/2010 9:32:31 AM

Any recommendation for loose powder which is of fine quality, doesn''t clog the pores and to be applied over foundation?
T. Leclerc is not that easy to find, at least not where I am. There is ONE place in town that carries it. However, it IS made by a French company, so I doubt you should have too much trouble finding it. It is available online, and you really can''t go wrong with one of the neutral type tones. One caveat though, it does seem to get better reviews from women with normal or oilier skin. So if your skin is dry, you might want to pass.Date: 1/14/2010 4:28:02 AM

Bliss, tigian & ksinger,
Thanks for the tips! I am really intrigued with this leClercs recommendation but have to find out whether I could find leClerc products here in my country. I have not seen this brand so far!![]()
Any other high-end brands which are easily found in other countries (Switzerland) for loose powder? and comes in many colorings?

I haven''t had an offical makeup lesson at MAC, but have had them play around with colors. Unless I pick them out beforehand, the SA will end up putting colors she likes OR try pushing colors from the new collection out (which they have nearly every other week) rather than looking at my coloring and clothing preferences.Date: 1/12/2010 7:23:27 PM

Has anyone had a make up lesson at the Mac counter? I would love to get some tips on applying eye shadow but I feel intimidated by the staff. They are so young and pretty! They will probably wonder what an old biddy like me is expecting!

Have you tried Smashbox''s Halo--it''s a hydrating powder. I use it in place of foundation, but I know people who use it as a finishing powder.
