New Jewelery Store Opening in DC/Maryland??

A while back i remember someone mentioning that a new store was opening up in the DC/Maryland Area -- i think that it was a chain store, but i can''t remember the name? Does anyone know the store

Charleston Alexanderjust opened this past Wednesday in Bethesda, on Wisconsin & Chase. That''s what they told me when they picked up the phone.

so i''m in love

yesterday, my BF and I went to the new charleston alexander that opened in Bethesda, MD. The store was still a bit empty, as it just opened up last week, but they managed to show me some beautiful stones. A unique thing about this store is that they have multiple machines/computers that you can put a RB stone in and it will give you all the read outs as far as color/clarity/cut/brilliance/etc. we couldn''t use that technology because we weren''t looking for RBs but i thought that was a really nice feature. Also, because of the new opening, without my BF and I saying a word, the sales lady -- who was extremely friendly and non-pushy, offered us 15% off the sticker price, which when i got home and surfed the PS diamond finder, found that to be comperable to online prices (though there still is 5% tax, but i feel there is still wiggle room to negotiate)

so, we were a little overwhelmed by the stones and didn''t take home any of the reports, but we are calling as soon as they open this morning and getting them emailed over. i''m not thinking that we''ll go with them, but perhaps if they are willing to give some great deals on settings it would be a smart financial choice

my next step is to email GOG, James Allen/DCD, and white flash to see what diamonds they can come up with...

By the way, i think that H and I color emerald stones are a great bargain, because while i could see the color difference when looking at the side, when those stones were in settings, they looked awfully white to me

also, when we were looking at settings, charleston alexander offered us $300 off a setting which they said they normally do not do and i believe it is somewhat rare to get a setting discount

a good tip might be to check out their website prices which are about 15% off their store prices and then call them and see if they will honor the internet price if you bought it at the store...then you could get all the services
