Hi everyone,
Loooooong time lurker here who just got engaged! My fiance (
) bought me my dream ring, a 7-stone, .15 pointers, shared-prong band from IDJ that I LOVE. IDJ was so fast and wonderful to work with. Jade was so patient while I tried on every band in the store! And the finished product is beautiful. Seriously, I drooled on myself making coffee this morning. Tragically, it's too small and needs to go back for sizing.
And I noticed, because I'm a Pricescoper (in my heart, if not in my posting level), that the stones in the ring aren't set at all the same height, and that one of them is set slightly off-angle/crooked.
Now, I know that this is a cast ring, and we got a crazy deal at IDJ (I sacrificed custom design for diamond size, I'm sure there are a few of you who can understand) and I don't want to nit pick things that should be expected in a piece like this. And I definitely want to ask y'all before I mention anything to IDJ because I'm not unhappy at all with their service so far. Would you wonderful experts tell me if I should just let this go? I welcome your sage advice.
The stone in question is third from the left in this picture. It's hard to capture, but it's definitely set slightly crooked, where the left side is higher than the right. I lent my loupe to a friend so I haven't been able to get a good look at the prong, but I assume it's fastened fine.

Thank you for help in advance!
Jessica
