I was directed to pricescope and am very glad I was! I''''ve spent a few weeks reading through various threads and have increased my knowledge no end.
I''''ve decided to pop the question so have started the research, so far I know that I am going to go for a fancy cut, either emerald or asscher most likely. Then something between a F/G VVS2-VS2 and size as my budget dictates with these criteria.
The setting I have some ideas on but want to get an idea of stones and costs before getting into that too much.
I have a booking this Friday with a Jewellers who have been highly recommended and offer a very good discount over regular high street dealers thanks to this recommendation.
My aim is to just see some stones in person and get an idea of how colour is actually perceived by the eye and thus allow me to make a more informed decision.
Going back to the settings for a minute. I have seen a ring on here owned by "dolphingirl22"...
I just love the setting and halo on this and I think it would be adored by my intended receipient!
Can anyone point this thread out to dolphingirl22 as I wanted to ask if she has any higher resolution pictures that I can take with me to the Jewllers to speak with them about getting something made in a similar style?
