Hehe! I finally got the DC25... I started a thread a while back on which vacuum to get and I just wanted to say thanks to everyone (again). This thing is so great. I picked up enough animal hair to make three more cats.....

So yeah, my new family member! I even got FI to do all of the vacuuming today

LOL

WE have a Dyson too! It is VERY effective. My only complaint is I find it very heavy and it hurts my wrists. That why I use it only sparingly! (That is my excuse and I am sticking to it.)

Ps My husband loves it. I am sure men fall for it because of all the refernences to it superior suction.

You know I found it a lot heavier than my old vacuum too! I thought I was just being a wuss... It did clean our couch way better though (microfiber... 4 cats..)

I am glad I was converted

Okay, so I saw the cat and thought, wow, so many new kitties on PS lately. Then I scrolled down and saw the Dyson. lol!

I love our Dyson too! We don''t have the ball though (we have the animal, the purple one). We have two cats and the vacuum picks up so much cat hair...it''s amazing.

The only complaint I have about ours is that the attachments (the wand, specifically) don''t seem to work well. It is a heavy machine, which would bother me if we had to drag it up/down stairs, but we live on one level.

I have a Dyson, as well, and LOVE it. So many had complained about its weight and the attachments being a pain, that I ended up getting the Slim and it''s light and easy to use! It was also less expensive than the other models.

That''s why I wrote that.... so many cute new animals :D

I wanted the purple animal one (with the ball) but I got a good deal on this one, so I''m happy. I also agree, the wand is bulky but compared to what I was using before.. a lot better!!

Congrats, we love ours - works wonders on the cat hair! Our dc14 is my parents' old one.. things last forever, too

Gaah - I really want a Dyson!! We don''t have a pet, but we have 4 kids (which I think is equal to 3 cats or 2 dogs) with allergies and wall-to-wall carpeting. I saw that Target was running a promo awhile ago for a $150 gift card with a Dyson purchase.

swedish bean, I''d be interested if you think that using the Dyson cuts down on the amount of dust in your house. Congrats, and enjoy your new vacuum!

I can''t wait to get a new vacuum - I''d love a Dyson but we''re planning to move in the next year and want to wait for the new house in case it has central vac.. either way we need a new one! :)

That is the exact one that I want! 2 cats and another one on the way *crosses fingers*. DH doesnt understand how great the Dysons are. Probably because he doesnt vacuum. I too am curious about the dust.
