Hi - Just found this site recently looking for info about my new ering. Peope here seem knowledgeable, nice, and funny--works for me!

That was my response too, Mrs S! D IF--WHOA. From my VERY layman''s eye at first glance the table/depth/mm measurements look they could be promising....

So it''s a done deal and is mounted, right? Asschers can be tricky by the ##s, so if your eyes love it, that''s what matters.
We''ll wait for Strmdr (the resident asscher expert) to weigh in!

And more to the point.......PICTURES PLEASE?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That''s what I''ve been able to garner from the experts on here so far. Mara''s pictures in particular are ... FABULOUS.

Use the macro setting on the camera (the little tulip icon) and hold the camera really, really still. Get close, but not too close, so it doesn''t get blurry.

Hi there!

Ok--spent a whole day obsessed with trying to get pictures of my diamond!

As suggested, I shot in natural light either indirect sunlight inside or direct sun outside. I used digital RAW format so I could enlarge the shot enough to get details, then converted close-up to Jpeg. And oh yeah, whoever said "lot''s of patience" knew what they were talking about!

Ok, first two shots happened right around sunset shortly after I first posted here...

you know, I really Do like clipped corner look as opposed to the classic octagonal stop sign shape. Both are beautiful but I prefer the patterns in the more square diamond, smaller windmill - it seems to give more of that "going to infinity" look - but that''s just me...

a lot of people do.
My favorite is the in between ones not too small and not to big but if I was going to one side or the other I think smaller windmills is better than too big.
When it comes to them its personal preference kicken asschers can be cut either way.

Your asscher is gorgeous; it definitely has that 10 mile deep look that I love.
