The double prongs will be spread slightly apart and they will be claw style.
Thoughts please??

Really pretty. Are you ok with the size of the under gallery box (it would be a donut in a round)? Will it work with your wedding band?[/QUOTE
Hi, @rockysalamander! Thanks for your comments! I was hoping the box would be smaller, actually-good point! But the ring won't work with my wedding band anyway, since it's a wide band. I wear it by itself now. But Sophie, my jeweler, has suggested that I could wear it with a narrow baguette band and she showed me an example she has in the store, with her ring which is a large 3-stone.
I have some straight baguettes and small rounds that she recently removed from an old ring of mine. We talked about making a band with them down the road, so that might be an option.
Since the stone is big, it would probably be too much to wear a large band with it, so I think it will be a stand-alone ring unless I pair it with a small band.![]()
I don't really have an aesthetic opinion. But, we had a poster a few months back who had a square lower gallery this and ended up getting the ring re-made as it was too big. I can't tell from your wax, so it was just a head's up to consider.@rockysalamander, I meant to ask you, do you think the rectangular "doughnut" is too big or not the best shape for the ring? Please feel free to be honest! I appreciate the input and advice!
Thanks, again, for taking the time and making your opinions known! I am very grateful!![]()

There was a good discussion and pictures in that thread. Maybe another member can recall the link. @whitewave @Matthews1127 @diamondseeker2006 @tyty333
If not, I'll look after work for you. But, the gallery that would be totally flush was more like this where the prongs arch back to the shank rather than ending at square-donut.

Hi, @Emeraldsaremyfavorite! I just love the double claw look on EC's!! I like the look of the slight split and the hug around the corners! When I thought of doing a three stone ring, I right away asked for double claws.Hi! Now that I am on to the CAD phase... wondering why you went with double prongs? I need to think about all this and we are having such a similar setting. Thanks!
