New Buyer Needs Opinions Please

Hi,
I am looking to my an engagement ring and from what I have read on this site I am going to buy through Whiteflash. My problem is my budget is only about $3500. I know, it probably seems cheap. I did some research for the Princess cut that she likes and I can buy an ACA .75 carat with setting for about $3500 or I could get a 1.0 carat GIA ring for the same price. My question is should I get her the best quality ring or go for the larger ring. Any opinions would be appreciated, thanks!!

Hi Condoo!

That depends on how well the GIA Princess is cut. The WF ACA Princess is the easy choice, as we know it has been hand selected and tested by experts to be a top notch performer, Princess cuts aren''t easy to judge by the numbers so much. Does WF have the GIA diamond you are interested in? If so, they could give you their professional opinion as to whether it might be suitable.
