New bezel for eternity ring surprise sapphire...it's perfect

I finally have the perfect bezel for the surprise sapphire in my 2.80 ctw diamond eternity. The first bezel was very thin and when the jeweler polished the ring it created a notch in the bezel. I had to wait until after Thanksgiving to have it fixed but it was worth the wait. He replaced the thin bezel with a thicker one that looks so much better. The sapphire looks like it is part of the design of the ring instead of an afterthought on the sizing bar. The pics don't show the perfect sparkly blue of the sapphire.

I just wanted to add that IRL the bezel doesn't look like it just sits on the sizing bar.

In the middle of the night, I started worrying that my plat wedding ring might touch the gold bezel and rub. I'm not wearing it because the eternity is my engagement ring. So I got up and dug it out. I was so relieved to see that because of the dome it fits perfectly under the small part of the bezel that sits past the shank.

phew! Those are the type of things that come to my mind, too, in the middle of the night! Glad that it all worked out and they will 'play well together'!!
