OUCH OUCH OUCH! That hurts just think about.

First- I will say that even if this ring was platinum with all diamonds being D IF Excellent cut, it you could probably purchase 3 of them for the price they have shown. They are probably referencing that as 'retail value'.

Second- You must be very careful when purchasing off of ebay. There are some reputable dealers on that site, but there are many more scammers just looking to take someones money. Even if ther eis very good feedback, it is pretty easy to drum up good feedback. Do a search on this site for what others here have discovered when buying fom ebay- who was good, who was not so good.

Third- I do not know what you were thinking of spending, but if you were ok with J-K color, I1, that same size center stone runs from 3800-4000 when run through the diamond search available on this site. Add the side stones, those seem to run between 500-700 here. So, add in what looks like a pretty standard setting, and you are looking at probably a $5200-5800 ring. And you can be pretty certain that if you work with the vendors on that search engine, they will give you an HONEST opinion on whether the I1 was eye-clean enough...and it woudl probably have a real certification from GIA or AGS.

You should really move this topic to Rocky Talk- you would get more responses.

Thanks for that. I am not sure how to move it. In fact it is on a website called bidz.com have you heard of that? It has a price of $59 000 but Not going to pay more than $5000 I think they do that to spark interest. How do I move this to rocky Talk. I am not looking to pay more than $3000 and it is the centre stone I ma looking for A carat or over round cut diamond
