I like the "video" with the black background.
It is well cut for what it is but it has a huge table and a very low crown height.
It shows that it was cut by a highly skilled cutter to pull it off.
On the other hand that is not a combination I think highly of.
Surface graining not shown needs to be checked to make sure it isn't on the crown.
Would be way kewl if they could use a blue background then you could tell obstruction from leakage better.
I know that feeling! I think its beautiful FWIW!If anyone can recommend an asscher with an over 8mm spread, good light return and colorless or near please chime in. I have a budget of around 30k and I'm having trouble finding a good one.
Contact a vendor in NY and have them pull in the stones that are local give them the report number or numbers or just a link to a site showing them. What's frustrating is that no one seems able to get asets for any stone I like, and there are a few. Is buying the only option?
Thanks for your assessment, Karl - I liked the way it was cut and the large table was a surprise once it had rotated! It is well cut for what it is but it has a huge table and a very low crown height.
