Needle as an inclusion

What is a needle inclusion? Is it no more than just a crystal in a longer shape? Any durability issues with a VS2?

Hi Cricketcat,

A Needle is, indeed, a long, thin inclusion that looks like a tiny rod. If it is GIA graded at VS2 it is unlikely that there will be any need for concern about durability. But I always provide the disclaimer that as with any diamond, of any clarity, if it is impacted 'just so' the diamond could split or chip.
