So, GOG says that:

1.22 H SI1 ~$7400 http://www.goodoldgold.com/diamond/4433/ - this one is eye clean.

1.22 G Si2 ~6800 http://www.goodoldgold.com/diamond/4679/ Need to ask, but this looks like a fab SI2. Actually if I were in the market I would be tempted by this guy.. - (this one you can only see the inclusion is you look really carefulyl within a couple of inches of the diamond).

1.28 E Si2 ~7500 http://www.goodoldgold.com/diamond/4760/ another nice looking SI2,(confirm with vendor) - and big - This one you can see the largest inclusion on the face when you rock the diamond back and forth

Tricky finding eyecleans within SI2!
Brightstone, I would ask Jon to create one of his famed diamond videos for you if you are serious about considering these stones.
I found it an invaluable tool. Also you need to remember that he is using a very critical eye for inclusions, and knows exactly what to look for

I would ask for a line up of the 1.22 H and 1.22 G, and ask him to point out the inclusion (iif you can see it

) He does this in the GIA diamond dock, with critical lighting, very up close to the stone. So, *if* you can make out the inclusion in the G, chances are you will not see it day to day in real life under normal viewing conditions..
It will also give you a great perspective of the diamonds' real life "personality". Honestly, these top cuts have so much fire and sparkle in person, they will often mask inclusions..

If you're game, pls ask him to include the Tolk I colour as a comparison - most people cannot see any colour down to I - you never know, you may love it!
And if not, it will help to give a critical comparison of the different stones' body colours.

Don't hesitate to ask Jon, he will be very obliging if he feels it will help you

YAY!!! The Sarin report is in!

1.31 ct
Supposed Ideal cut, but the GIA cert doesn''t list cut grade, but only lists table and depth percentages. I am waiting on a Sarin report from JA
Color: E
Clarity: SI2
Eye Clean, per vendor
Polish: Excellent
Symmetry: Excellent
Cutlet: None
Girdle: Thin
Florescence: Faint
Table: 55% / Depth: 61.5%
http://www.jamesallen.com/diamonds/E-SI2-Ideal-Cut-Round-Diamond-1118772.asp
Here is the Sarin report for this (I had to type it in because the file was too big to upload) ...pic is in previous post on this thread.
AGL Round Name: 4222 Weight: 1.306 ct
Diameter: 7.090mm (7.07mm-7.11mm) - 0.6% EX
Total Depth: 4.33mm – 61.1% EX
Table: 3.89mm – 55% EX
Crown: 34.5 angle (33.5 angle – 35.6) 15.7%
Pavillion: 40.7 angle (39.5 angle – 41.9 angle) - 42.7% EX
Cutlet: 0.4% - Very small EX s/u:49.51
Girdle: 1.41% (0.85% - 1.69%) Thin-Medium 0 EX
I am not experienced in reading Sarin reports, so any critiques on the whole thing, opinions are greatly appreciate so I can determine whether this might be the winner. Also, someone actually made the comment that the table%/crown was shallow and pavilion deep on this one. Will that make it look smaller or less bright…i.e. will I really notice this or is such an undesirable?
The only other one I have found that is eye clean is this one to compare to. http://www.goodoldgold.com/diamond/4433/
You guys are great to have been such a help!

No it is fine, the proportions of the diamond look good. GOG diamond also looks good, check it is eyeclean to your standards.

i recommend 2nd

Say more! :-) Why do you recommend the second?
