I have been spending a lot of time on here in the past couple weeks learning and researching, but this will be my first post! Thank you all for teaching me so much, and probably saving me from making a very uneducated purchase. I believe I may have finally found a winner! I have been striving to get the most diamond I can for my budget. Here are the specs., its a 1.12 ct. I SI2 and it''s eye-clean. I''m hoping that the MB flurescence may make it face up a little whiter.
Certificate: GIA
Shape: Round
Cut: Ideal
Carat: 1.12
Color: I
Clarity: SI2
Measurements: 6.68-6.65-4.15
Depth Percentage: 62.3 %
Table Percentage: 56 %
Girdle: TN-M
Culet: None (Pointed)
Polish: Excellent
Symmetry: Excellent
Fluorescence: Moderate
Pavillion Angle: 41
Crown Angle: 35
Crown %: 15.5%
Pavillion %: 43%
My question about the HCA, for Garry and others, is that when I ran the angles I got a 2.3 VG. However, when using the percentages, you get a 1.5 EX. What causes this, and what are your final thoughts on this diamond? It will cost me around $3500, which is at the high-end of my budget. Thank you!
