match.....I'm going for the total surprise effect on my girlfriend, she has no idea about the rings or the designs. Just wondering whether the engagement ring would match with that full diamond band. I guess I need more of an expert opinion, pretty much, any is welcome.
Kind of hard to tell without seeing them together...Personally I would think it is too much going on for me. It seems as if that band was made more for a solitaire or to be worn alone..
I agree it''s too much for the ering. Why not try a simple eternity band. There are two great vendors here that make awesome eternity bands. www.signedpieces.com and www.whiteflash.com . Have a look and let us know what you think.
I agree with the other ladies the rings look like they might compete rather than complement. I think a half eterntiy to match the e-ring would be very pretty..
Shoot. My whole reply just got zapped somewhere out in cyberspace.
In short: the band you''ve picked is great and I like the idea (more diamonds!
) but it''s rather wide and I think it would look much better on its own. Unless she''s got really long fingers, that combo of band and e-ring would take up a lot of real estate.
I''d tend to agree with the above opinion that a single row eternity band (similar to the shank of the e-ring you posted) would look amazing with the e-ring. As would a plain band.
I think a plain platinum band with that size center stone will look absolutely beautiful, plus it gives her a lot of options with what to do with her wedding band. Personally, I agree with the others, I would love an eternity band with a simple solitaire. Good luck!
