Very deep, probably face up smaller than a well cut stone of that size, cut to get over the 2 carat mark where there is a sharp jump in $/carat. Probably not performing well too but difficult to judge that from an image and GIA does not grade the cut performance of a princess.

thank you very much stone - I will try to post better pictures. .

Here are some pictures.

Still impossible to judge as I do not know the lighting conditions when the image is taken. Will need at least an ASET image.

The photo looks promising, but that's all I can say. I don't see any glaringly obvious leakage, but it's blurry and not close up enough. Depth is high, but that's not totally atypical for princesses. The problem is that higher depth usually translates into smaller face-up dimensions, so you may be paying for a 2ct princess that looks smaller than 2ct.

Also see the advice I posted in a similar thread:

The Cliffs notes version is that cut is the single most important factor in buying a diamond, but you can't determine the quality of a princess cut from numbers alone. An ASET image is the most helpful tool, but they're not widely available at local jewelers. This is an example of a beautifully cut princess in the 2ct range with the types of images we find most helpful:

The stone does is quite deep. I would find another one.

Try to keep the depth in the 64-75% range for princess diamonds.
