Need your help deciding please

Hi everyone,

I''ll try not to make this too long. About 2 months ago, I had decided to put my ring up for sale with JBEG to buy the incredible 1.56 cushion on their site. I won''t know for sure until Monday whether they''ve been sold. In the meantime, I had met the budget I needed for the 1.56 and I was thrilled. Then, my DD and SIL came to me and asked for help buying a crib, travel system and a couple of other large items for my soon-to-be-born grandson (like next week...sooo excited)! So, we did, and that ate through my budget for the 1.56 cushion...or so I thought. So, I found a setting I liked on their site, and put it on hold to put another diamond in it. We also thought the 1.56 was going to be sold, so I was pretty content with that decision. While I''m waiting for Monday, I''ve been working on numbers, and it turns out that I have enough to buy the 1.56 and put it in a solitaire if it''s still available. During all this, Grace has been incredibly helpful and patient. So, my question is...do I get the 1.56 cushion and put it in a solitaire, or buy the setting and try to find another diamond for it?

I am assuming that the setting would be for a smaller diamond? So going ahead with the 1.56 would cost more?

If you can afford it and not feel a pinch, I say go for it too. Life is too short to avoid things that bring pleasure.

Dreamer - in response to your question about the difference in price. There''s only a $300 dollar difference between getting the setting/different diamond big enough for the setting and buying the 1.56 which is why I''ve really started to think differently about it.
