Okay, I previously posted a thread stating that I was looking for a place to propose in Boston. And the ideas that everyone gave me were great. And may still use them. However, this was originally when we had NO vehicle in Boston. However, plans have changed. We are currently PLANNING (key word) on getting a limousine to take us on a little tour of the city after dinner. Well, I''m planning on surprising her I guess, is a better way of putting it.

So NOW, here''s what I''m thinking. We''ll get picked up from dinner at about 9:30pm, and then taken on about a 1hr, 10min tour. The limo will charge for 2 hours, since it has to include time to get to the restaurant, and then time to get back to their garage. So I''ll have about 1 hr, 10mins to pull this off (mini tour + Proposal somewhere).

Therefore, I''m not thinking that maybe there would be ADDITIONAL/ALTERNATE options for places for me to propose, as we can now venture a little bit out of the city (not too far, cuz I''m sure traffic will be crazy as usual). But because we can not venture OUT of the city, can anyone suggest any additional spots of interest/perfect places to propose to her. Coast, harbor, special landmark, etc.?

I WILL ENTERTAIN ANY AND ALL SUGGESTIONS!!

THANKS IN ADVANCE!!

The Esplanade along the Charles River/Hatch Shell (where the Boston Pops perform their July 4th concert).
The Harbor Walk behind Rowes Warf.
Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market (touristy and not especially romantic, but very "Boston").
Harvard Square (ditto on the touristy bit).
Maybe a drive down Commonwealth Ave in Back Bay. It''s rather pretty with a park in the middle of the lanes.

If you were doing this during daylight hours I''d suggest something like the Longfellow House or the Arnold Arboretum.

I would agree with the Harbor walk. There are many more perfect spots, but they are further outside the city.

Oh! Another idea... Christopher Columbus Park next to the Marriot Long Wharf hotel. It''s right on the water. Park around there is crazy, especially for a limo, since there is highway construction going on in the area. (grrr the big dig) If the limo can drop you two off for a bit and then come back and pick you up after a set time, that may work.
