Hello,

We are new here and just founded a diamond we love, however, when we looked at the ASET image we found some black areas in the photo, instead of Pink, blue and Green. Can you give us some advice in following questions:-

1) do you think it is an excellent diamond based on image?
2) we see some black areas in the arrow, instead of blue, does it mean there are leakage in those areas?
3) It is an eye-clean SI2 diamond, and we are happy to accept some inclusions for a cheaper price, but will it affect the light performance?

Many thanks.

Welcome Cho,

The image looks great, I could be wrong, but I think it is a result of the lighting with the arrows and there shouldn't be a problem, check with the vendor, they will be completely honest with you.

Also check carefully whether this diamond is eyeclean to your standards, again the vendor will be honest with you.

ASET-photographs are very difficult to produce. The black instead of blue is a reflection of the black camera instead of the blue field. Technically, it is the same, do not worry.

The inclusion will not affect light performance, but it might be visible to the naked eye. Ask your vendor to check it for you.

Live long,

Live long,
Thank you Paul for the clarification!

Thanks very much for you guys help!

Nice looking light return and better-than-usual optical symmetry.
