i am about to invest in some diamond stud earrings for my wife on our 25th wedding anniversary (for putting up with me for so long
). my friend''s brother-in-law is sellling us the diamonds, and gave us a report. can someone please tell me if these are good stones? since i am making an investment, i want to know whether the stones are too deep or too shallow in cut? i''m told it should be in the middle for both, but i can''t tell by the numbers. i bought a diamond 27 years ago, so i don''t remember too much. obviously i want the best stones because she has been through so much and just beat cancer last year. i believe she deserves the best, so i want the best. brillance inside and outside is a must. please let me know. any experts on hand that can tell me just by looking at the stones? thanks in advance.
