Need some opinions on two stones

Hi,

I am looking at the following two diamonds. Their specifications are quite similar. But the price difference is 4k. I can only see the main difference is the clarity which is VVS2 vs VS1. Is it what makes the price difference?

Which one would you choose? Anything I should watch out for?


First One
HCA Score: 1.4 (All excellent except Spread is "very good" rating)


Second one
HCA Score: 0.6 (All excellent except spread is "very Good" rating)

So, the only difference is the clarity? I wonder if the clarity itself would cause such a big difference in price.

I "think" once you get to the upper clarity levels it can. I want to think someone posted something similar to this before, and I was surprised that getting into the higher levels could cause such an increase in price.

However, I''m old and my mind''s shot, so I could be wrong.

Hopefully an expert will chime in to clarify.

And to answer your original question, I agree with the gals, VS1 is more than fine.

And to answer your original question, I agree with the gals, VS1 is more than fine.

I am no expert but it seems to me that it is also the combination of highest colour with very high clarity that commends the dramatic increase in price...

As for the choice of stones, both are gorgeous and I don''t see how you could possibly see any difference in them with human sight so I''d go for the VS1 and save 4k that I could invest in a beautiful setting
