I am looking at the following diamond. My girl has a 4.75 ring size and I am looking at the 6 prong of the following ring:

http://www.jamesallen.com/products/item_58-2801_build.asp?pos=1&cid=58&module=setting&item=2801

Since her finger is kinda small, I am thinking about a .75ish diamond. Is that a good size? Are there things that I should be concerned about? See the diamond stats below:

Shape: Round
Carat weight: 0.81
Cut: Ideal

Can you give us the pavilion and crown angles? Welcome to Pricescope by the way

Hi, can you post a picture of the stone and an IS (ideal scope image)? The numbers look promising. HCA https://www.pricescope.com/cutadviser.asp

Just to give you an idea of what a stone that size will look like, here''s my .75, set in a 6 prong, on a size 6 finger. So on her tinier hands, a .81 will look even larger. :)

Beautiful setting you''ve picked out, by the way.

Please excuse the fuzzy picture, I snapped that really quickly. Here''s one more.

Thank you, this helps so much! I think the size will be just perfect!

I''d comment on the diamond, but I''m not an expert, so I''m leaving it up to them. It looks great to me! And major props to you for doing the research!

Hi Yonze,

This appears to be a very promising diamond, the table is a little smaller than some we see here - but that isn''t a negative, it has great proportions and should be a lovely stone by the look of it! Could you request an Idealscope image from JA?
