Both are fails.
ASET is subpar and as are the hearts.

I am not sure this is H&A, by the standard that H&A makers hold themselves to here - I am amazed the level of precission is possible, yet, it is ! This diamond errs a little.

If you did not mention H&A in the post, I would have had no serious complaint about the slight assymetry.

As @Karl_K mentioned, pass on this; you have a lot of area where you are losing light, which will make this diamond extremely dark in the center.
If you prefer, we can help you find something that may work better for your budget....
What are your preferences (in order of priority)? Budget is set at $12k for 1.7-2ct....

Bad ASET. There’s a ring of death in the middle under the table. It will be dark there. Not what you want at all. Not too concerned about the H&A images as this is not a super ideal stone.

Thank you everyone for your input i when ahead and cancel my order. I am glad you guys are giving me your honest advice.

@Matthews1127 My Budget is set at $12k for 1.7-2ct, thanks for the links you above but most of the diamond are not available

Any reason for vs1 or better?

i just want to have a cleaner diamond.

Any advice on this? https://www.bluenile.com/diamond-details/LD09423889 - 4 Excellent on TIC .09

Thanks!!

It is cut too deep at 62.8% depth. Probably will leak some light. Try to keep depth max at 62%.

Besides, you can use this formula to see if the diamond is cut ideally or retain some weight: Width x Length x Depth = 7.61 x 7.67 x 4.8 x 0.0061 = 1.709ct. The ideal weight should be around 1.709ct or 1.71ct. The diamond you asked is 1.75ct. So, somehow the cutter tries to retain some weight within the depth of the diamond (because it is cut too deep).

Here's a tip, in addition to the other great advice you've gotten here. Look at the measurements. An ideal cut 1.7 can often times face up larger than a not-as-great cut 1.8-1.85. I'd rather it LOOK better than SOUND better
