Hello everyone.
I have been looking for a marquise diamond for an engagement ring.
I have found the following diamonds, and I am having a tough time choosing one:

The parameters of a marquise are really tricky. And I am not really sure
which one is the better choice

Although it does look like the #3 is the better cut out of all. I would like to choose the best quality for the best money, but if I would not really see the difference, why pay more....

Please tell me what your opinions are.

I like the last one best just because of the L/W ratio. I would recommend you go to Dave Atlas' site linked here Click on the Fancy Shape Selector on the left and play with the L/W and see which one you like best.

Also, if you click on AGA cut rules and charts and then select the marquis chart, it will give you some cut guidelines.
