Need some advice/help on a Engagement Ring.

Hello

I have been in the market for an engagement ring for my girlfriend, and I have been looking at Szul.com at this ring:

Can anyone tell me if Szul is a good place to buy rings from? Also, this exact ring at a mall store is around $5500, so I am wondering what the catch is. I would like to be able to buy a full CT, but I do not want to buy it and find out its junk. Any advice or knowledge would be much appricated!

Jason, I really suggest that you begin your search by reading the tutorials available under the KNOWLEDGE section above. You will quickly learn that CUT is the most important C of all, and this ring has no information on cut. I''m also betting that this "SI" stone is actually much lower and might resemble frozen spit. There are a lot of screaming NOs to this ring and by reading the info on this website you will become a VERY informed buyer.

If you want to just start a search with a reliable vendor, try Whiteflash, Good Old Gold, or Engagement Rings Direct.

One more resource, look at the 4 C''s section on the Good Old Gold site. There are great pictures to help you better understand color, clarity, etc. I think there are some new videos and other info such as shape tutorials, too!
