I would like to recycle my ring which I haen''t wear for long time for my dougther.

is there any good jeweler but not too much charge ?

last year I did recycled ring which had 2.7ct total diamond ( all same size diamond) to Eternity ring

it was about $ 950 ( size 5 .K18 eternity 4 prong mount and the Set fee )I was told it''s bit too high price...

Recycling materials is a wonderful way to pass along a connection to a previous owner and it is, of course, environmentally responsible. It’s always nice to know that a ring is made from the same materials that were worn daily by a grandmother or some other cherished ancestor. These are fine reasons to do it but, with the exception of diamonds, this usually doesn’t result in much financial savings. With most designs, the labor component is considerably more expensive than the gold component. Without details about your project it will be impossible to give a sensible estimate of what you should expect. Really, it’s impossible anyway because different goldsmiths will approach a project in different ways and they don’t all charge the same rate. The least expensive will probably not be the best quality and visa-versa. Visit with a jeweler or two and ask them about your options. They should be happy to answer your questions.
