Need Reassurance: Pear Diamond

Before I found this site we had been looking at James Allen, and we selected the ring and stone together. It is now too late to get an aset image. There would be a 25% restocking fee to return it if we don't like it since it is being set in a yellow gold Verragio setting. Does this look like a decent stone?

That is won't sparkle like it seems to in the video based on the stats. I guess I will just have to see what it looks like when it gets here! Thanks

I think it looks like a pretty decent pear...with a slight tilt more nice facets show up. Let us know what you think when you get it...

You definitely need to view a fancy with your eyes & decide if it pleases you or not. I viewed approximately eleventy-billion pears before I picked mine, and what was perfect on paper wasn't always attractive to me. The one I chose in the end was chubby & performs more like a MRB. @minxy, I quite like this pear, the facets light up very pretty and I don't see a lot of the mushiness that I've seen with other stones. Like @Alex T, I prefer a much fatter pear, however this one still has a pleasing shape. I like how the tail (pointy end) blends into the round end. A lot of times when i was looking at pears that transition would be choppy or be very square.

I hope that when you see the some it will meet all of your expectations.

My solitaire is a 1 CT pear! I love it! Not a halo..a solitaire. F Color...some inclusions but I it soarkles when clean!
