Hello All - I need some assisatance with cost expectations for the following diamond. I''ve listed the specifics below. The diamond is listed at $8,995 - is that an accurate price point?

Cut/Polish/Proportions = Ideal

This provides a good start, even though it represents approx 2.5 databases. If you select above the "search by cut" option, you''d see a range of prices, looking only for results with HCA scoring under "2," of $4800, give or take $300....clearly nearly 1/2 of the suggested price. And...these for more premium goods. Still, these are internet options, you may have a B&M premium...and the ISEE both causes the need to check for "search by cut" comparables, and also, deserves a premium by itself. but...probably not that much...I don''t think.

Welcome to Pricescope, and read more here. If it''s a well scoring, or an ISEE diamond...this is a good start for shopping, because they''re reliably good performers. It means you can begin by knowing what an attractive diamond looks like. But, I think you can knock the cost down by looking more broadly.
