Did your son get the Lyme''s bulls eye rash? My hubs had lyme''s and b/c he had the rash they said we caught it very early. He went through the first round of antibiotics and felt fine for a while, but then starting having symptoms reappear (his main ones were muscle/bone weakness and headaches-he never has headaches). So he went for another course of antibiotics and then he''s been fine since (this was 3 or 4 years ago now I think). Speedy recovery for your boy!

It''s horrible how bad things seem to come in 3s.

My dog also had problem with his eye recently and i found the wait from the vet appointment until the specialist appointment the hardest part as i thought the problem could be cancer or a tumor. Luckily the problem was not as serious as i thought but still he is part of our family and i was as worried as i would be for any other family member.

Sending plenty of healing dust your way and hope your son and Casper have a quick recovery.

My heart goes out to you regarding Casper - I have a geriatric dog as well and we know her days are numbered and have no clue how we''ll cope. Let''s just hope that if he''s had something happen that the damage is as bad as it gets and he goes on to have more time with you. They become so much a part of the fabric of our lives - it''s just a pity we can''t have them until our days are over.
