This has been a heck of a week, started off with a death of a friend. Then DS got diagnosed with Lymes disease, yesterday... He's on antibiotics and so far is doing ok..
This morning it's my doggie Casper.. He's 15 and is such a love, he's my shadow, each and every day. This morning, I noticed his left eye was wonky... He's been acting strange like a thunder storm is coming, but the weather is fine. He's going to the vet tomorrow, couldn't get him an appointment today..
The left eye is kinda tilted, showing the whites of the eye in the corner closest to his nose... Does that make sense?? It's not cockeyed, just like the left eye is looking for right?? Almost as if they eye muscles aren't working??
He's eating and drinking.. But I know something is terribly wrong... I pray he will be ok.. But am not that optomistic, as he's old for a Bichon.
Obviously it's a neurological problem, how bad it is, I will know tomorrow.. Thinking a minor storke or brain tumor from what the vet said, but will know more tomorrow.
Our kids are away, so all they know is Casper is acting like he always does when we have a storm and that I am taking him to the vet tomorrow...
Can you send some prayers that DS has a speedy recovery from Lymes and some for my sweet Casper??
It's funny the other day, I was like Man look at you Casper you are soooo rocking this age thing, and then whammo...
To say this dog is a part of me, the kids and Hubby?? He's it. He's just is the best dog, and cracks us all up, he is so funny and smart. The more we laugh, the more he does funny things.. I hope we have lots of laughter ahead with him, but also have to brace myself..
Many thanks, Lisa
