Hello everyone!

Thanks everyone for helping me decide on a 3 stone ring for my reset! I have been working with Whiteflash and so far they have been awesome.

I received a picture of the side stones but I''m not too hot about them. I''m hoping someone can tell me why the side stones look a bit dark
compared to my center stone? The side stones are not certified and my husband is insisting on certified stones after looking at this picture...will getting certified stones help us get prettier stones?

Thanks again!

It could just be the angle and a camera reflection, I would ask for some direct on pictures of the sidestones. I doubt WF would sell you dogs for sidestones.

Certifications don't guarantee you nice stones, it's all about the cut with fancy cut stones.

Agreed. Ask WF for the ASET of the stones and then you can ask for the expert opinion of storm.
Certification maybe with AGS, as they used to grade cuts, but not sure if they are back to grading EC as of now if you see my post below.

Ditto and WF will be able to advise you which sides would be best. Neat is quite right, cut is KEY for any diamond for beauty.

Thanks for the response Neatfreak! I know that certified stones are not a guarantee but I want my husband to be happy too. I have asked for more pictures so hopefully it was just the angle of the camera.

Stone-Cold, thanks for chiming in! I wish you luck with your search!

Thanks Lorelei, I agree that cut is key as well. It''s just so darn hard to judge diamonds by pics alone. I wish I could see them in person.

Thanks

You could have it ship to you for own inspection or to a independent appraiser and then if you like them send it back for mounting or else continue the search with the 10 days return refund? That would only incur shipping fees and if to the appraiser, some additionalt appraisal fees.

just some suggestions. :p

What I would do is to voice these concerns to WF and ask them to send you some more pics or to recommend some other diamonds if they feel these won''t be pleasing to you? That way you should be able to proceed or go in another direction with confidence, I know the WF folks want you to feel good about your purchase and will be only too willing to address any concerns you have!
