Need opinions on which EC I should purchase!

Hi All,

I am in need of some opinions and feedback on these 2 stones...which stone sounds better on paper? They are both nearly the same exact price. Thanks in advance

Never buy ECs by the paper. The minimum requirement is a picture of the actual stone. ECs with the perfect stats on paper can turn out to be duds. There''s no magic formula unlike round cut diamonds.

stone A is from a local store in my hometown-Phoenix and stone B is from Solomon Brothers in Atlanta. I have seen both stones in person. I thought both looked good, but at the same time I am new to diamonds and pretty much think they all look good

the second stone sounds a bit better--what is the return policy?

the second stone has a 25 day return policy with a reputable store. i am not positive on the first stone, i will find out. so bgray, is the table on the second stone(55%) not that terrible?

no not at all--55 could make this a fabulously brilliant stone with a nice crown. salomon brothers has a good rep and 25 days is fine. i say go with the 2nd. my Ec has a ratio of 1.5 which is classic. 1.42 is a real sweet spot. 1.30 is getting a little blocky in my opinion anyway. plus i would hate to pay for the extra depth. my EC's table is 62 but the smaller crowns make for a more dramatic stone if everything else is good

AND the specs are great I color VS1 will be stunning!

honestly strmrdr, we have been looking at so many stones in the past 2-3 weeks that i feel as if i am confused and do not know what to look for. therefore, i don''t think that either one "sang" to me...hope that makes sense. we actually bought a stone 3 weeks ago that "sang" to me from the moment i saw it, but heres what happened with that stone- it was a EC J in color and 5.40 and it was a big 5.40. i had it for 3 days and started to feel that the yellow would bother me more and more so luckly the place that we bought it from returned it...but other than the color i loved everything else about it! so we decided to go down a level in color and a little in size as well so thats why i am looking at stones I in color and 4+..and as i said nothing has grabbed me as much as that one since...perhaps i should keep looking..
