After asking questions about some diamonds I saw on Ebay, I have taken the advice of some of you and found a diamond at Whiteflash.com. I am including the link and there is also a link on the page to see the certificate. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks bunches!

Might want to get the crown & pavillion angles from WF if possible.

I take it by the way your shopping that your main concern is diamond size, not cut?

Actually, I think the angles are already provided on the cert.

I'm still pretty new here, and I'm not sure I'd like to offer an opinion, except that it seems to have promise. I think the folks at Whiteflash just must have an optimistic typo, indicating the table as 60...the cert shows 62. But, checking the HCA score, it's either good at 60 or not bad at 62. Still, at 62...since that that will put the HCA score over 2, you may do well to shop a bit more.

Where did you find that one? Looking for a diamond on the search by cut, you won't find one in that price range and size around. If you do want that size, as Wonka27 is guessing, this one may be fairly well cut for the price, and you might call it a day.

Can you get the kind of pictures that show how well a cut seems to be? You could ask them at Whiteflash for these.

Yup, your right. I did't see the report...just looked on the WF page.

Agreed, the HCA score isn't blowing minds. I'd be a little weary until I saw the stone with my own eyes, unless of course your just looking for as big of a rock as you can get.

Probably for the color and clarity with the prices you've been looking at, you can be in the lower 1 ct. range, but have a mind blowing beauty of a diamond.
