I''m choosing between 2 diamonds -
Diamond A is a 1.18ct, J, SI2, excellent cut, GIA cert, nonvisible black crystal inclusion near the center
for about $3600
vs.
Diamond B is a 1.03ct, I, SI1, excellent-verygood cut, GIA, nonvisible white crystal inclusion near the edge
for about $3700

A is 0.15 larger, cheaper, and has a better cut, but it has a black inclusion (SI2) which I haven''t inspected yet
B has better color, and has a small white crystal inclusion (which I''ve inspected)

I can''t decide!

well first we need exact cut information before anybody is giong to give you a real opinion on here. Give us every number you have on each stone and any other info, but if you are seriously considering them then make sure to call and put them on hold so they dont get bought by someone else after you post.

Second, the black crystal near the table may be eyeclean, in which case you could get a larger diamond, you need to talk to your vendor. Also, in that regard, it is probably visible from the side (given that it is one large black inclusion) and being under the table may be reflecting and look like multiple inclusions from the side, if that means anything to you, and especially if you are going to have a very open setting.

Thirdly, is there any reason to end your search now?perhaps a bit more time searching and learning is in order?

I attached the image to the post - note, I outlined the inclusion in black using paintshop - as the original red marking was too faint

this is for diamond A only, i don''t have the cert for the other

The cert shows that stone to score a 0.7 on the hca. That''s a good sign. Can this vendor get you an ideal scope image? I would have to have all the info on the other stone to make a determination if it were me. But I wouldn''t rule out that first one by any means just yet.
