Hi,

I am looking for an engagement ring and a wedding band for my future wife. I have a ball park idea for the wedding band, the standing one that can be seen on the picture attached but with 7 stones and in white gold.

I also need to find an solitaire engagement ring that matches in size (appr 2,5mm wide and 2mm high), shape (slightly rounded with straight sides) etc. that sits flush with the wedding band (I personally like the traditional Tiffany setting but it needs to match and flush the wedding band in the style seen on the picture). In regards to the centre diamond, I am thinking somewhere close to 0,4 ct, ideal, F, VVS2.

I am trying to fit those two rings in to a budget of appr. 2500 USD, I realize that might be hard so the budget do have sime flexibility. I preferably want to find the two rings at a jeweller that has business online.

After screening the interesting discussions on the forum I am positive that someone might be able to help me find what I am looking for or something even better. I (and hopefully my future wife) would be eternally grateful.

Here is a picture of the base design for the wedding band (the standing one)

The shared prong setting is more contemporary. Does that appeal to you?

If it does, you''re probably looking at rather small stones, perhaps 2 pointers, so that you don''t overpower the .4 ct solitaire.

Here is one to consider...its 2.5mm wide, sort of squarish sides but cant tell if a band will sit flush with it.

This one may work buts its 3 mm wide

This looks like it will work...its 2.5mm

Thanks for your interesting ideas! I´m frankly less worried about finding a solitaire that will work, the problem seems to be finding someone that can do the wedding band (within budget).

A shared prong might be an option but I haven´t really found what I think I am looking for.

You might have a valid point in regards to not overpowering the solitaire.

Whiteflash can make this setting:

The Legato without diamonds, as seen here:

Legato plain, without pave

The band is super thin, would showcase a diamond nicely, and looks like it'll allow your band to sit flush.

They don't have a band like the one you want available in their stock bands, but they can custom make you one. In white gold, I doubt it'd be too much if you're using 2-3 pointers.

They'll also be able to find you a center diamond with the remaining money that fits your requirements.

Just one option. Hope this helps!

I think you definitely help, I will check with whiteflash what is doable. Thanks a lot!
