I would not go for that unless you can get at least a IS pic from JA for us to evaluate.

What are your requirements for the Princess Cut? Carat size, Color and Clarity level?

here are 2 I VS2 PR from GOG.
http://www.goodoldgold.com/diamond/5004/ 1.21c I VS2 $4317
http://www.goodoldgold.com/diamond/5007/ 1.24c I VS2 $4439

WF doesn''t seem to have any good deals in your price range.

Stonecold,

Thanks for the evaluation. What is an IS pic? Will an "I" from your above posts display any tint in the diamond? Cut is my most important thing I am looking for.

An IS=Idealscope. I would actually prefer to see an ASET with a fancy stone, which will help you determine what kind of light return it has. If cut is the most important factor to you, you can make it easy on yourself and stick with princess cut stones that are AGS graded and get an AGS0 grade. They are the cream of the crop.

Try going to the shops in the mall and take a look at the different kinds princess cut color and see if you can see the diff. Or give GOG a call and ask for their advice?

Ditto Neat. I believe Jareds carry AGS0 Princess, see if you can look at some in person and in the colour grades you are considering, then you can see for yourself which would be best.

Be careful with this. Most "I" stones in maul stores will look considerably different than a graded accurately, ideal cut "I" stone.

Stonecold, Thanks for the help. I called GOG about the second one you recommended and got great help from Sarah. She relieved my concearns about the color. I put a down payment down. Thanks again.

No problem. Please post some pics of your ring when you get it for us to oogle at if you are able... :P
