It looks to be a very well cut diamond, welcome to Pricescope! Which vendor has it, do you have the polish and symmetry grades?

Thank you Lorelei, i have learned a lot from pricescope. :)

polish: EX
symmetry: VG

my concern is the measurement from vendor report and GIA report are different, and i run the HCA base on vendor''s report which come out not really a ideal cut diamond.

thanks for help

Some variance is normal and GIA rounds the numbers. When you say an Ideal Cut diamond, do you just mean a very well cut and excellently performing diamond? What makes an Ideal Cut can vary according to opinion etc. This appears to be a well cut stone, not quite up to superideal standards on paper perhaps, but a well cut and proportioned diamond nevertheless. It is certainly well worth consideration in my opinion.

i understand that ideal cut can vary according to opinion. i am looking for a well cut and also well performing diamond. i have actually seen this one and it has very nice light performence.

i am also considering another diamond, but can''t get an ideal scope image and have to pay a deposit to call it in. see attachement for the proportions.

my GF and i have been looking diamonds for weeks, now we both feel very tired and want to make a decision asap. from your opinion, which one is worth buying.

thanks

I understand, I know it can be stressful. Ok, the second one you posted looks extremely promising from the info given. Do you have the diameter measurements please? It is hard to know which is the best one to pick, they are both well cut, the second one has EX for both polish and symmetry as a pose to EX VG, and the table is smaller as some prefer. However you have seen the first one and love it, could you call in the second then choose between the two? Why won't they give you an IS image?

thanks Lorelei

yes it''s very stressful in this few weeks, i was checking pricescope and other inetrnet vendors all day long while in the office.
the second one is not the vendor''s stock and they can''t get an IS image for me. i agree with you that second looks better and the price is also cheaper, but have to pay a depoist to call it in which is not refundable.

It does look very promising, but it depends on how much the deposit is, is it a shipping / call in fee?

it is a shipping fee, thanks for your advice, i have decided to call it in and compare with the first and make the final decision.
